Tasting Notes: The wine displays many of the wonderful sides of Bacchus: fresh lime peel and a lavender like perfume underpinned by elderflower and a peppery spice. It is crisp yet refined on the palate making it a refreshing, palate cleansing wine.
Winemaking Notes: 100% Bacchus, 11.5% ABV, from Norfolk, England
Food Pairings: This is a wonderful wine to pair with seafood. We love it with a seabass accompanied by a wonderful selection of summer veggies.
About the Winemaker: Based in the sunny and sheltered Waveney Valley in South Norfolk, overlooking the villages of Earsham and Bungay, Flint Vineyard’s winemaker Ben Witchell crafts incredibly unique wines. The vineyard site was selected as one of the driest and sunniest regions in England and the south-east facing vines are planted on free-draining gravel and flint soil.
