This Muscadet is from the world-famous Maison Drouet in the finest vineyards of the Loire Valley, and it’s grown there exclusively.
Elegant and fresh, this is an easy-drinking wine. The Muscadet grape is known as ‘Melon’, so it’s fruity in taste with crisp and dry hints of apple.
You’ll taste the full flavour of this wine while it keeps its freshness and fruity aroma.
Recommended food pairings
A well-ripened cow’s milk cheese like Cantal is a great pairing. You can also enjoy this wine with all types of seafood, or even as an aperitif alone. It’s incredibly versatile, making it a firm favourite.
Melon de Bourgogne grape is dominant in the Loire Valley region. It’s grown with refined techniques that help it develop a fuller flavour, with slight carbonation for added freshness. The grape’s unique to the region: it’s not grown anywhere else in the world.

About the Winemaker
This 15-hectare domaine is owned by François Bonhomme and is planted solely with ‘Melon’ (or, as we know it, Muscadet).
Maison Drouet’s been in the heart of the Nantes vineyards since 1880. It’s a real family tradition, with four generations of producers, traders and winemakers. Muscadet is the largest French white wine vineyard, and the wine is drunk in more than 70 countries worldwide.
Our utmost concern is get you the right cheese in the right condition right to your door. With that in mind please allow 3-5 working days for your cheese box to arrive.
However the package will be posted on a next day service so as not to spend too much time in transit. Each package will come with a gel ice pack to keep the temperature in the box as low as possible.
