Saturday 24th October 2026 – Bulgarian, Hungarian & Romanian Wines Paired with Cheese Virtual Tasting

This tasting takes you beyond the familiar vineyards of Europe and into a world of hidden gems, where bold reds, aromatic whites and characterful wines tell the story of centuries-old winemaking traditions. Journey through Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania — three countries quietly producing some of the continent’s most exciting and underrated bottles, shaped by diverse landscapes, native grape varieties and a rich cultural heritage.

Expect a line-up of wines that are expressive, distinctive and full of personality, from crisp mineral-driven whites to velvety reds and intriguing indigenous varietals rarely seen on supermarket shelves. Each wine will be paired with carefully selected cheeses chosen to complement their unique character, creating combinations that are both surprising and deeply satisfying.

This is a tasting for the curious — for those who enjoy discovering something a little different and love the stories behind what’s in the glass. Whether you’re already a fan of lesser-known wine regions or simply looking to explore beyond the usual suspects, this 5-course experience promises big flavours, unexpected favourites and a delicious journey through one of Europe’s most overlooked wine landscapes.
