Flavour profile: An exceptionally elegant and complex wine which showcases the very best elements of a cool-climate Chardonnay. On the nose, ripe peach and honeydew melon aromas shine though. Mouth-watering tropical notes on the palate are complimented by a soft, round mouthfeel, leading to great length on the finish.
Wine Making Notes: Chardonnay, 12.0% ABV, from Essex
Food Pairing: This goes fantastically with chicken and fish dishes. If you’re looking for something more simple, pair this white with something like Delice de Bourgogne, a salty and creamy cheese, which is the perfect balancer for a dry wine such as this.
About the Maker: Dating back all the way to the Middle Ages, Essex based New Hall Vineyards have been making wine from ‘grape to bottle’. Fast forward to today, and they are continuing to make fantastic wines ( whilst winning loads of awards on the way!) and have become a love cheese staple in our wine collection.
