Tasting Notes: Intense cherry aromas, a toasty palate with rich but soft tannins. This wine shows a wonderful complexity of fruit with sour cherry and cranberry shining through. The palate is soft yet structured. The flavours of this wine will dance in your mouth, being fresh and energetic. There is loads to love and it effectively slips down. We love it.
Winemaking Notes: Pinot Noir, 12.5% ABV, from Norfolk England
Food Pairing: This is a great wine for pizza!! It is light enough to be enjoyed with this cheesy dish but flavoursome enough to not get lost.
About the Winemaker: Based in the sunny and sheltered Waveney Valley in South Norfolk, overlooking the villages of Earsham and Bungay, Flint Vineyard’s winemaker Ben Witchell crafts incredibly unique wines. The vineyard site was selected as one of the driest and sunniest regions in England and the south-east facing vines are planted on free-draining gravel and flint soil.
