Product Highlights

A bold, brambly, juicy red with real character and great depth of fruit, with its bright aroma, luscious texture and super balance.

At 14% ABV, it is a brilliant dinner wine that is bold enough to match with your red meats and casserole dishes.

Good rich fruit and silky texture with cherry and blackberry flavours and spicy length. This is a corker of a wine, complex and smooth.

Tasting Notes: The aroma is crammed full of raspberry and strawberry fruit. On the palate the wine is spicier with a firm structure that has a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. This wine is bursting with spicy blackberry and plum fruit, ultimately, this is a cracking Cotes du Rhone and impeccably well made.

Winemaking Notes: 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Carignan, 14% ABV, from Rhone Valley, France

Food Pairing: This is a bold wine that will not be overpowered by rich foods. Try with red meat based dishes like Sunday roasts and ragu

About the Winemaker: In the southern Rhône, there is a group of self-styled lunatic winemakers. The group comprises nine winemakers and a cooperative, all of whom have a slightly different view from the norm as to what they do. While each of the nine has their own approach, they all share the same ideals of promoting quality, the value of terroir and moving towards organic or biodynamic agriculture.
