Port isn't just for Christmas.
That's right, the infamous Port and Cheese tasting is back, and this time it's here for spring. Five perfectly selected ports, from bright and fruity to old and tawny, married to five spectacular cheeses.
It may not be for the faint-hearted, but it is for everyone. Whether you're new to port, a seasoned port veteran, or just fancy trying something new, this is one for the diary.
New for 2027: score every pairing from your phone with our voting portal, then find out live which port won the night.
In the (2-person) box:
- 5 selections of Port (roughly 150ml each)
- 5 portions of Cheese (roughly 80g each)

- Tasting instructions
Harry Baines, or as he's known in the streets, 'The Big Cheese', will informally guide you through the menu and pairings LIVE on Facebook at 8:00pm GMT on Saturday 15th May 2027.
Please note: The products in the tasting will vary from the picture. All tasting boxes will arrive on either Thursday or Friday before the event. We cannot guarantee which date you will receive your box. Orders close on Sunday 9th May 2027.

About This Tasting
Five ports, from bright young ruby to old tawny, married to five spectacular cheeses and tasted live from your sofa this spring.
New for 2027: our voting portal. Scan the QR code on the card in your box (there's nothing to download) and score every pairing from your phone as you taste. Some scores go up on the stream straight away. The rest stay hidden until the grand reveal, when we count down the pairings from last to first. Afterwards, save your tasting notes so you know which port to stock up on.
How it works
A cheese and port tasting selection designed for two people, delivered right to your door. Sign in to Facebook and join The Big Cheese LIVE at 8.00pm on Saturday 15th May 2027 for five bespoke pairings of port and cheese, entertaining and informative (if not a little tipsy).
Delivery
Delivery is included in the price. We will send out your tasting box, which will arrive on either Thursday or Friday before the event.
Where to keep your box
When your tasting box arrives, put the cheese in the fridge straight away. Keep the ports at room temperature to really get the flavours going.
When to serve the cheese
Take the cheeses out of the fridge an hour to an hour and a half before the live event, so they come up to room temperature. They go well with bread, crackers, chutney, olives and cured meats. There are no wrong accompaniments here.
