Last January The Big Cheese and The Goudafather went head to head for the title of Ultimate Pairing Champion. The Goudafather took the crown, and The Big Cheese has spent twelve months sulking and sharpening his cheese knife.
Six artisan cheeses, six wines, two very competitive cheesemongers. Each contender presents their pairings, and this year you decide the winner from your phone.

Please note: The products in the tasting will vary from the picture. All tasting boxes will arrive on either Thursday or Friday before the event. We cannot guarantee which date you will receive your box. Orders close on Sunday 17th January 2027.

About This Tasting
The Big Cheese and The Goudafather go head to head again: six wines, six cheeses, and you decide who takes the crown.
New for 2027: our voting portal. Scan the QR code on the card in your box (there's nothing to download) and score every pairing from your phone as it happens. Some scores go up on the stream straight away. The rest stay hidden until the grand reveal, when we count down the pairings from last to first and crown the 2027 champion. Afterwards, save your tasting notes so you can look back on the night.
How it works
A cheese and wine tasting selection designed for two people, delivered right to your door. Sign in to Facebook and join Harry and Jordan LIVE at 8.00pm on Saturday 23rd January 2027. Each contender presents their pairings, you taste along and vote, and the scores decide who walks away with the bragging rights for 2027. Entertaining, informative and, if last year was anything to go by, a little bit heated.
Delivery
Delivery is included in the price. We will send out your tasting box, which will arrive on either Thursday or Friday before the event.
Where to keep your box
When your tasting box arrives, put the cheese in the fridge straight away. Keep the white wine chilled and the red wine at room temperature to really get the flavours going.
When to serve the cheese
Take the cheeses out of the fridge an hour to an hour and a half before the live event, so they come up to room temperature. They go well with bread, crackers, chutney, olives and cured meats. There are no wrong accompaniments here.
