Tasting Notes: An intense ruby red colour with purplish highlights. The bouquet is intense and elegant with hints of Morello cherry and wild berries. The wine is dry and full bodied with nuances of red fruit. Good balance and acidity. Think posh Lambrini.

Food Pairings: A soft creamy blue. Montagnolo Affine or Fourme d'Ambert in particular.
About the Winemaker: Azienda Agricola Trevisana is a small winery owned by the Tombacco Family since the seventies. It produces and bottles Italian wines with genuine and intense flavours, in the best wine-making tradition of Italy. It is located in Paese, in the heart of the Veneto Region: 20 hectares of vines are cultivated with passion to produce a high quality wine.

Couldn’t believe I found this excellent sparkling wine ‘locally’ after having tried it in a local pizza restaurant. First tasted this wine during a trip to Rome and Venice. It was the house red wine in a pizza restaurant so we did not expect much. But what a surprise to taste a red that is so lovely and has a slight fizz to it. We went back for more. So happy to have found a supplier so we can enjoy it back here in the UK.
