This unique cheese is a vintage cheddar that has been combined with Porter Stout. The stout in question is Guinness, no doubt the most famous porter stout in the world which originates from Dublin, Ireland. The final product is certainly distinctive, with the mixture of colours creating a beautiful marbling effect on the cheese.
This is a mellow cheddar that we find hard to dislike.
It goes perfectly as an hors d’Oeuvre when sliced and served with salad. Or, this cheese can also be served grilled.
Pair Irish Porter with a chilled pint of Guinness stout or Irish porter.
