This is a fantastic traditional farmhouse cheddar that has been produced by Keens since they settled at Moorhayes Farm in 1899. Over a century, and five generations later they can still be found, proudly producing world famous award winning cheese. They use milk from their own herd of British Friesian cows. The truckles are clothbound and matured for 12 months by the keen family, giving a rich creamy flavour with a citrussy hint on the finish. This batch of keens has been matured an extra 6 months to impart an even saltier tang.
