Sierra de Gata is a juicy and fresh red wine with vibrant red fruit aromas over a subtle spicy note of white pepper Smooth and very drinkable! This is a delegate field blend red and comes with complex yet accessible flavours.
Spanish cheeses are renowned for their unique flavours and so with this, you’ll be getting a lovely mix of unique and lovable spanish cheeses.Â
First, we have the amazing Torta de Barros. The flavor for this is mild and very personal, with a touch of acidity and fine herbs and a bitter aftertaste produced by its rennet. It has a creamy texture, ivory white with bright eyes unequally distributed.
Next we have a cheese that is quite the talking point, Murcia al Vino, which translates to “Drunken Goat”. This goats cheese has been soaked in red wine, giving it its name and its distinctly purple rind. Expect soft, fruity and delicate flavours from this semi firm cheese with a creamy and smooth texture.
We then have Manchego, Spain’s most famous cheese. This fruity, sweet ewe’s milk cheese will have your mouth watering. It is a hard, brittle cheese with a surprising moisture. The flavour yields a grassy, tangy after-note.
And finally, La Peral! A creamy, salty blue cheese with a lovely granular texture. While this is a distinctly blue cheese, it’s not too acidic despite the strong flavour.Â
