About the Maker
Cornish Yarg is made by Lynher Dairies Cheese Company. The original cheesemaker, however, is Alan Gray who reportedly found the 17th century recipe in his attic and started producing this artisan classic. The name Yarg is quite literally Gray backwards and he passed the recipe over to the local farm in 1984.
